The real fun of a Street Party comes from getting together out doors, without worrying about cars. That's why we close the street down.
It is, however, likely to cause some inconvenience, for some people. The street will be closed at 1:30pm, from Clinton to Harbord, and we are asking ALL residents and friends to do something else with their vehicles for the day.
A 3 meter clearance will be maintained along the east and north sides of the street, in case of emergency, but please try to get your cars off the street, and try to avoid having to drive through the middle of the party, by taking it out of the garage before the street is officially closed.
