INDI
International Network Deployment Initiative
A community project to amass, assemble configure and ship "obsolete" computer systems, tailored to specific communities, worldwide.
Target communities will be chosen, and local (Toronto) members of that community will be solicited for surplus hardware and donations towards shipping costs. Willing geeks will be unleashed on the dusty gear, transforming unloved Win98 era boxes into lean, mean linux machines. Long term, long distance gurus will be sought.
Targets
-Nigerian Schools
Technicians
Administrators/ Programmers
Shippers

raft of PIIs
we've just received a small mountain of yesterdays hardware. Although they may not be the latest, this class of hardware will make perfectly good simple workstations, and superior thin clients. If you need such a system, we offer it ridiculously cheap. If you enjoy developing this sort of thing, give a shout.

want 2 more?
I no longer need two fully working systems (though I can't access one of their BIOS settings). If you want them let me know as I'd hate to throw them in the trash! One is PPRo the other is PII, both with a hard drive, ram, CD-ROM, and case - though all require assembling!
